Dr. Derek Grundy
Dr. Derek Grundy, DDS, has practiced dentistry since 1983, building a career marked by clinical excellence and a longstanding commitment to patient care. He began as a dental officer in the Canadian Forces, where he served for over seven years, developing a strong foundation in discipline, precision, and service. In 1987, he established his private practice in Hanover, becoming a trusted presence in the community.
Dr. Grundy has a particular focus on cosmetic dentistry and dental implants, combining advanced techniques with a personalized approach to care. His work is guided by a commitment to helping patients achieve confident, natural-looking smiles while maintaining long-term oral health. Over the years, he has developed strong, lasting relationships with his patients, and he continues to stay current through ongoing education and professional development.
After a period of retirement, Dr. Grundy sensed a clear calling to return to clinical dentistry on a part-time basis. This decision reflects both his faith and his ongoing desire to serve others through his profession. He approaches this next chapter with renewed purpose, bringing experience, perspective, and thoughtful care to each patient he treats.
Dr. Dhaval Kesaria (Dr. K)
Meet Dr. Dhaval Kesaria (Dr. K), Your friendly neighbourhood dentist with a combined International and Canadian experience of 13+ years.
If you’re looking for a dentist who combines skill, compassion, and a genuinely warm approach, you’ll feel right at home with Dr. Dhaval Kesaria—better known to his patients as Dr. K. With over 13 years of clinical experience, including 10 years in Mumbai, India and 3 years practicing in Canada, Dr. K brings a global perspective and a steady, confident hand to every appointment.
Dr. K completed his dental education in 2010 (India) and Masters (Specialization) in root canal therapy (India) in 2014. He received his General Dentistry License in Canada in 2023. His clinical interests include:
• Restorative dentistry
• Endodontics (root canal treatments)
• Nitrous oxide sedation for patients who feel anxious or prefer a more relaxed experience
His calm, reassuring style—paired with advanced training—helps even the most nervous patients feel at ease. He believes that great dentistry starts with great communication, and he takes the time to understand your needs, concerns, and goals.
